I hear so much about blogging but have never tried before. I thought this would be a great way to let my clientel know about new and fun trends or focus on some hair issues that others may be experiencing.
As most of you know my name is Carolyn Walter, I have been a hairdresser for 30 yrs. I love my work and feel blessed to do what I am passionate about. I own a beautiful salon on the Northfork of Long Island which I personally feel is one of the most beautiful places in the word.
The holidays are approaching, and beautiful hair is in high demand. A new hair color can dramatically change ones look especially for those who shy from changing the cut. This is a great time of year to add a little more excitment and go a little bolder or brighter. There is a wide range of color hues to choose from. We sometimes get stuck in that same old same old. I often get so busy I forget to talk to me regular clients about making changes. I apologize for this. So if your reading this and want to try something new, just let me know. If anyone has any other hair issues I will be glad to respond.

As the temperature is falling and we start feeling cabin fever, our day can be brightened by a quick fix at the salon. Now is the time to experiment with something new. Maybe a new cut, using a blow dryer not so bad this time of year. A brighter color to replace lack of sunlight. Choose a simple glaze of color or a few hilites around the frame of your face. Or come in for a cup of tea and a manicure, your spirits will be uplifted. Don’t forget our shiatsu massage chair with a deep conditioner. Spring will come!!
